I installed them in my 2005 Cadillac Deville and didn't hook them up to an amp, I put bass blockers on them as I have a subwoofer in the trunk that's long to cut In short, they sound clear even when I turn up the volume. I've been looking for three-way speakers that don't need amplification and couldn't find any.
