I don't know anything about these glasses other than a friend's suggestion for a grown son - he loved them and repeatedly told me they were his favorite glasses - I think I accidentally got the flat black ones " instead of black - and I think that was his favorite part. He uses his stuff and takes great care of it, so sometimes I spend money on things for him - obviously they were worth it.
