I bought this Brainerd model to replace contract quality Mepla hinges on my kitchen cabinet doors (3/4" front frame) where They are Euro concealed hinges with 5/8" overlay. They were the perfect replacement for me. Meplas were difficult to adjust, they didn't hold their settings and left uneven doors. Some also broke the installation mechanism.. They are much better designed for this purpose. They also have a screw to adjust the 5/8" bezel to the small amount needed to fit the existing mount (which was important to me).
