Review on C2G Cables Go 01755 Connector by Dan Bobbert

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I also have this for Saitek X52. Works well, if a bit long. Should work for PS/2.

There is obviously not much to say about the cable. The general build quality seems pretty good to me. I don't think any of the pins will miss or break or anything like that. The wire is quite thick so I don't think it will bend or break easily. I believe the X52 uses all pins, so that also means it's a completely correct cable with no missing wires or anything. (I could be wrong.) Remember this is male to male. For example, it will not work as an extension cord. For PS/2 use, as others have said, this is pretty much the way to go for things like KVM. Instead of modern ones, you may need to use USB. For the X52, it fits snugly and won't fall out, so I can safely say it works well there. Keep in mind this is a bit long. This may be fine if you really want to assemble the two pieces, but if they're close together you might need to roll them up and tie them together or something and they'll obviously stick out a bit. (Unfortunately, it's hard to find a really short PS/2 male-to-male cable that doesn't cost money.) I think most X52 users will be pretty happy with this.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Doubtful
