. The fabric is of very good quality. The hem has both an elastic waistband and a woven cotton ribbon to tie. The legs are wide enough. Haven't washed yet so I'm aware of the shrinking or bleeding of the red onto the white. Will update after washing. Update: They have since been washed in cold water. My biggest concern was that the fabric would bleed and shrink. I was very pleasantly surprised that the fabric didn't shrink or sag. I have to say although I took precautions to avoid this. They were washed in cold water, I used a SHOUT color trap fabric and put them in the dryer just long enough to smooth out the wrinkles and then hung them to dry. I should also add that the heat applied button and waist taping stay supple and don't rip.
