Not see through which is nearly impossible to find for my size 16 body without spending $100. I will say that I have short legs. I'm 5'8 but a lot of my height is in my torso. It's not too, too bad but girls with short legs will notice and have to hike the legs up a bit to not have a fold or line again.They're complimenting to the tummy area and are very high waisted if you need them to be. All in all happy as these are only a little more money than the ones I get at Old Navy.Also when you first get them the will look too small. Don't worry they stretch.These would be fine for working out, though I bought then for casual wear.I paid $15.99 but I see this is now $18.99. I just purchased these so keep that in mind when buying that the price fluxuates often.
