I need a corded phone for backup during power outages and for more privacy when I don't want to use a wireless phone. Furthermore, nothing can match the sound quality of a good wired phone. When it comes to phones I've always found Panasonic to be a great brand and this one is no exception. It has all the useful features that make calls convenient: speakerphone, mute, redial, hold, speed dial, etc. This model even allows you to connect headphones with a microphone (via 2.5mm input) for completely hands-free calling. -Free call. This is undoubtedly the best feature of this model for me, since I often multitask and surf the Internet during a call. I haven't had any of the issues other people have complained about in their reviews and my phone has decent volume and works great. Verdict: If you're looking for a quality yet affordable corded phone with lots of good features, you've come to the right place.
