This cup warmer heats up very quickly and is easy and pleasant to use. The plate was too hot to touch for a few minutes and my coffee stayed hot when set to 170 degrees. I love the little gold on/off bead, just touch it lightly and it turns on or off. The temperature controls are also easy to change with a light touch. The security features are excellent and just picking up the base will turn off the device immediately or automatically after 8 hours. I haven't had any problems with the cup warmer and it works great. This mug warmer is very attractive and makes a wonderful gift.
