I made a police scanner streamer out of this set. I am using the OP25 software to stream 2 networks of P25 police scanners to Broadcastify. I've made other antennas that were better matched, but the antennas provided were close enough for the initial setup. Disable the infrared sensor to install the heatsink on the module. I installed the Pi, radios and antennas in this 3D printed case. I added 2 fans to keep everything cool, the temp was over 80C (175F) but with the fans and heatsinks the temp stayed around 40C (105F). This setup does the work of 2,400$ scanners plus a PC for streaming. All for less than $150 and significantly less power consumption.
