Bought these for a hike when the heat index was 100°. We live in northern Minnesota and are not used to the high heat and humidity. I was hesitant to go camping during the heat warning. But it worked. These towels feel really cool after being flipped over or twirled in the air. The length allows you to wear it in a variety of ways: as a scarf, as a tie, as a headband, as a bandana, tucked into the front or back of a t-shirt, simply thrown over your neck and shoulders. They also came in handy for wiping sweat from your face (when it's wet and there's no wind). We've also used them while picking berries in a sun-drenched field and on camping trips. I plan to use them for long distances as well. I recommend them as good value for money.
