Review on 🔊 Philips AZ700T Bluetooth CD Soundmachine: Portable Boombox with USB, FM Radio, Digital Display, Presets & Remote Control by Jason Pruett

We wanted a boom box with CD player and FM radio with remote control for a small gym. I spent several hours researching to find one that met all of our needs and had decent reviews and a reasonable price. It's perfect. Some people have criticized the sound quality of this player; however, we do not agree. The sound is rich and full, with good separation between bass and treble. I compare the quality of the speakers to a larger stereo system, with no rattling or hissing in the speakers as the sound level increases. The volume that is possible with it is much higher than we need. There's no EQ here, but there are two bass settings, but I found it just as good without DBB1 or DBB2. Note: we are not bass fans. We listen to a lot of classic rock and some new rock as well as a lot of new age music and it all sounded great. I checked local radio stations playing rock, cw and rap and everything sounded fine. The remote control is easy to use (has a button cell battery). The only downside is that there's no power button to turn the player on and off, but we weren't looking for that feature and its absence doesn't bother us. The antenna is a standard extension pole, which we prefer to thin wires. Connecting an MP3/MP4 player works smoothly and easily. The only thing I don't like is that you can only use the remote to switch between albums and tracks, but not interact with the MP3/MP4 display name. Pairing with an Android phone is easy, and once paired, the Boombox can be played from the phone. The video is only for demonstration of the sound and some functions. The maximum volume is 32 and it's quite loud. Half that volume is enough to hear most of my house. I'm not sure how well the audio translates from my phone.
