Forget about using clips to attach your Apple TV to the back of your big screen. Screw it to the wall behind your TV (won't interfere with a VESA wall mount) or behind (near the top) the cabinet that houses that large 60" screen. I don't know how often you rearrange your furniture. but I don't understand why you are doubling the heat next to your electronics. Apple TV generates heat. The big screen generates heat. Reduction of the calculated circulation for both? I've found that the Apple product doesn't really care about the 'vision bar', as long as the signal bounces off the wall or whatever it works. My devices 2 and 3 lived in cut cardboard, folded, glued and vented. But heh, it's a good product and worth the money. .
