I bought a heater to replace a leaking Franke HT-200. Installation was easy as it was essentially a straight fit. I've had no trouble pressing fittings with my copper tubing. All connections are tight, even after the unit had to be removed and reinstalled to fix a leaky faucet. With the thermostat almost fully set, I measure 200 degrees Fahrenheit at the point of use. the device is noisy. I suppose it's true, when the cabinets under the sink are opened I sometimes hear a slight noise, with the doors closed it's absolutely silent. built-in filter Franke, which I did not use. All in all, the first impression is great! Edit: 1 month of daily use and it continues to impress. The water is hot enough to use in a French Press to brew coffee, greatly reducing the time it takes to cut caffeine in the morning. Love it.
