Ideal for occasional indoor use, no more searching for the scissors.

These zip ties seem like a good idea but unfortunately I found them to be a little rough on my fingers when twisted. It would be easier if I could rotate the item to be tied and just hold on to the extra tie, but most of the time I was tying something to a stationary object so I had to rotate the extra tie and that was more work than it should have been. After about 7 ties my fingers were ready and I went to get the scissors. Of course, most people only use one or two at a time, so they can come in really handy for that. However, I am a fan of zippers. For example, I have a chicken coop made out of chicken wire, wooden poles, and zip ties. I use dozens at a time so I use wire cutters to cut them. Another thing I noticed is that they are about 1/16 inch thinner than standard cable ties of the same length. I know this too because I have about 30 packs of various sizes lying around at home and they are thinner in length. It may seem like a small difference, but when used outdoors, it significantly reduces wear resistance and service life. And the last thing that bothered me about them is that they cut almost flush with where they attach. If it slips even a gap or two, the tie will break. I don't know, maybe it's just me, but I'm much more comfortable with a small 1/4 to 1/2 inch strip sticking out of the end. Gives me something to work with if I need to tighten it later and it can slip off a bit and still be tied. On the plus side they are suitable for indoor use, turning to cut is fine for a couple at a time and keeping a few of these in your litter box for emergencies will reduce the time it takes to cut one Finding scissors, drastically shortened. The price is not too high compared to traditional ties. To get a significantly better price you would need to buy 1,000 or more standard ties, and in some places standard ties of the same gauge and length sell for the same price as these. useful as I mainly use them in bulk and outdoors, they would be very handy for casual indoor use.
