It does an excellent job of teasing and separating the hair especially if .

I will admit that this brush did wonders in its earlier days- and by earlier I mean its first two months or so. It does an excellent job of teasing and separating the hair especially if you are a regular halo extension user. However, the base split and separated from the brush after about two months. I attempted to glue the pieces back together to no avail. I would recommend purchasing a higher quality brush if you are looking for something to use longterm.

Easy to use, Great lift!

This brush is IDEAL for back-combing and smoothing! I'll never use a comb to tease my hair again. This rush works in very few strokes to give TONS of lif! Easy and fast to use! Soooooo happy I found this brush!

Cheer coach recommended this item (in pink) for the teasing of our ponytails for competition.I loved that there were color options. We would've gotten the blue color, but it's wasn't Prime =(Great brush.thin enough to work in sections.also doesn't take up too much space

great hair at a price

I have fine, thin, flat hair. A friend recommended this product for more volume and shine. This comb delivered! Great lift and even made unwashed hair look clean and voluminous for awhile.The drawback: this comb pulls out my hair! It doesn't hurt when I use it but it always comes away filled with an outlandish amount of my hair strands. I don't use it anymore because I don't want to go bald.

WOW! I am 58 years old with a lot of baby fine hair. This teasing brush is the BEST thing I have ever used to back comb my layers on top. Its amazing. I bought and sent one to my sister who has struggled with back combing her fine layers and she loves it too. I am buying a few more to keep in different bags and both bathrooms. Amazing brush.

I love this darn thing

I was given one of these in a styling class, it was a REVELATION. AMAZING. I lost it in the midst of a move, and I went to my local ulta to find a replacement, I bought a few different ones but nothing comes close to this one! it's inexpensive, but is SO much better than any of the more expensive ones. buy this!

does what it should

this arrived super super fast! it does exactly what it is supposed to do, and it does not tangle my hair, I love it, and I will probably get another, since the price is great on these, just to have an extra one. I can also use it to come out my daughters hair ect. very glad I got this, and recommend to everyone!

I'm not great with teasing hair but this really worked! only 4 stars becasue I had issues with packaging. It may be difficult to control the amount of backcombing or volume created.!

it okay doesn't tease but theirs other uses to it

I had really high hopes for this brush when I purchased it but ive been trying it out and it looks like a regular 1 dollar rat tail comb works way better then this but it does work grait for smoothing out the hair so ive just been using it on my daughters hair !

Great item. But mine broke in my bag. Broke in 3 pieces.

Not sure why it broke so easily. It was in a tote with clothes and wasn’t dropped or anything Loved the brush but be careful about how you pack it in bags.8-7-19 Update: ordered the blue one to give it another try since it IS a great brush. I Own More Than One Now

I bought one of these at the mall because I needed a teasing brush. It was an impulse buy, and instead of buying a Denman like the beauty gurus tell you, I bought a second one of these recently! Teases my hair well, and the bright color is easy to find in the bottom of your purse. Easy to clean too. I have one for home and one for my bag, and may buy a third and fourth for the office and car. A versatile, inexpensive brush, which makes it a good buy in my book.

I have tried out many teasing brushes and this is definitely decent for the money. Cant say I reach for this brush as much as my other more expensive brushes but it serves a purpose. This brush is very similar to one I have been using for the last 25 years. I have been looking for a new one for a long time because it has been losing a lot of bristles but had been unable to find one for a very long time. Honest Review: First Impressions

Okay so I just received this brush and have plans to use it as a back-comb device for putting my extensions in. Anyhoo, I just opened the package so here are my initial thoughts. It's heavy but in a good way, like solid plastic that my puppy could chew on but it would survive with only minor damage. Gives that perfect tease!

I bought this to do teasing for highlights (I am a hairstylist). The brush worked perfect! I mortise a comb, but the teasing gets too tight and is hard to brush out when I’m rinsing the hair. But this teasing brush has been a game changer! I absolutely love it!
