Updated review: Although the original quality of the bag was not what i expected, the customer service was incredibly impressive! Nina from Hynes Eagle contacted us and offered to swap out the backpack hoping for a better experience this time. The backpack just arrived and to this day we have not used it, but the fact that this is a company that believes in what they sell and hopes that the customer also believes in their product and experience was great impressive. Except that the fittings are made of plastic and not natural brass. actually notified me when it arrived - should have returned it. In terms of functionality, one strap of the backpack sold out after 3 weeks, the second after a couple of months. Well after a few hand jobs my daughter is wearing it on her arms but I'm sure they will open up soon too! total divorce. The LL beanbag she wore in elementary and high school is still functional and cost about the same. My advice, if you can't read between the lines, consult someone with a reputation for making quality products.
