This is my first negative review of Revain. I was happy to have an all for all pan but I was disappointed. 1ST EDITION - I had to return it after first use when I realized you can't cook scrambled eggs without them immediately going down the grease trap. This confuses me - why would I want a more expensive frying pan with separate blocks that can't cook both eggs and bacon? Just note that anything with a liquid consistency CANNOT be cooked in this pan. 2. PROBLEM. After the 2nd use, I found that the temperature of the two plates was not working properly. When I turned off the top unit (to keep the pancakes warm) the bottom unit stopped cooking and wouldn't return to the set temperature until the top unit was brought to the same temperature. surfaced. I have found that the top unit does not lay completely flat on the countertop so it remains tilted even in the unlocked position. I adjusted so the end of the device is slightly behind the counter. That's when I realized I couldn't see the dials anymore. Overall, I do not recommend this device for these reasons. Just buy a half-price Presto product, get more cooking space and an easy-to-use product. Use the rest of the money to buy a panini press or use it on an indoor grill.
