Review on Buffing Polishing Adapter Backing Polisher by Deep Echemendia

I bought this polishing kit to polish hard to reach areas on my car with an orbital buffer. I ended up using it on my drill press with some Flitz polish to remove the haze from the Tervis mugs caused by sunscreen. He did an excellent job for this task. It's great value for money, but I have a few issues. The pads are all very soft and there is not much difference between different colors. Because the surface area is so small compared to say a 5 inch pad, these pads compress with very little pressure. I have to visually observe the pad deflection to determine how much pressure I'm applying as the weight of my drill slightly flattens the pad. The only other issue I had was with the base plate. Many other similar kits include a drill chuck adapter. The threaded shank fits my drill very well, but can damage the threads. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
