It might be a bear coming out. I bought this from Revain instead of the cheaper version because the center T-connector is machined aluminum which is MUCH better than plastic and guarantees the part will last a long time. . There are a number of other cars I own that have this aftermarket upgrade and the reason is simple: manufacturers forego better parts because it affects the bottom line. Installing cheaper plastic parts in cars costs significantly less than making the part last 200,000 miles. If you know how to work under the hood, this is an easy fix. You will need to remove the intake manifold, which is a simple twist of two screw clamps. Pull and pull to remove it, this may take some work depending on the hardness of the rubber. Now you have everything open and you have to do a lot of tugging and grunting to remove the old hose. Make sure you understand how GM clamps work. Simple, but then again, if you haven't seen them in action you might be disappointed. For tips and tricks, visit DIY Saturn Outlook Hose Heater Hose Replacement on YT. From there, add fluid through the radiator filler cap (not through the expansion tank). Run the car to remove air bubbles from the system, check for leaks, and you're good to go. Thanks Dorman for upgrading this part and I look forward to seeing what other parts you "fixed" :D
