Hello, I am Helen. My body is 6' tall, 160 lbs, 38B-30-42, pear. This dress is a thinly woven knit sweater print containing 2 labels which both claim "wool and linen" as the fiber content. This is different than what is reported in the description, which disappoints me greatly. The sweater dress measures 30" across the top back from shoulder seam to shoulder seam. This is too wide for even me with my 18" shoulder and B cup so I'll wear the sleeves in a dropped raglan style. This should be fine since the sleeve length is only 18" on my 24" arm, so there is plenty of needed room in sleeve length. The dress is 49" long for now, but I have not yet washed it for shrinkage. With this loosely woven wool/linen blend I have a greater concern over shrinkage issues than the expected cotton modal. For a smaller person, the fiber content combined with shrinkage potential may be good news. Plus some shrinkage would tighten the weave and make a warmer sweater dress. If I was only small. Less worries about clothes. Sigh. The grass does look greener on the other side of the cyber fence.!The dress measures (unwashed and not pre-shrunk) 50" around the chest at the armpit unstretched, 72" fully stretched. This is plenty of room for larger chested women. The sheath silhouette would be quite flattering to the apple or hourglass. It is not an A-line dress, and there is no shaping for the waist. The hem is 40" unstretched, 52" stretched, so as you can imagine by comparing bust and hem, there is a slightly inverted A-line technically. No walking slits in the hem, which pleases me cuz I am too tall for extra slits in a dress.Overall, I am happy with the dress and wish to keep it. I can only hope at this point that the wool and linen will not itch or shrink up higher than my knees. Normally, I do not buy wool garments except cashmere, but this time I was tricked by bad info on Ebay and will try to make it work. The yarn does not feel itchy to touch, but we will see soon how it feels all over my skin. I love the colored print on the dress.! The colors are muted jewel tones that are perfect for my skin color (spring shades). The print is slightly off center and a bit bigger than I thought, but muted enough to let me be heard before the garment. The print is on both front and back, with both slightly off center the same degree as each other, so I am calling this a design component and accepting. The print matches well, even with single overlock serge seams. I hope the seams don't pop during wash or wear. A double interlock serge is better with stretchy fabrics, but the maker uses double the amount of thread. Sad sigh. So the value of this dress may not meet $60 to me, but the fiber content, cut, style and fit is good, so each one shall decide for themselves.May you find beauty, order and harmony in all your shopping excursions!Helen.
