Nothing should smell so bad for so long. you have been warned So this ring holder is sturdy. It was greatly appreciated. And while he is stubborn. And what's that smell? I noticed that when I first opened the packaging. It was a tarry chemical smell and I could smell it through the plastic it was wrapped in. I thought the smell would go away after a while. It rained the first few days after I received it so I couldn't sit outside with it. But when the sun came up I left it outside all day. The heat of the sun only made his smell worse. But you can't use it indoors. Works great with the paparazzi rings I sell but that smell!
