This is a game changer when it comes to voice recorders. I replaced the one that used cassettes, so it had been a few years since I didn't need them anymore, but when I got back to teaching I found it a lot easier to record a lecture so I could hear what I wasn't could . fully understand by this point, and use them to prepare for tests. The fact that this is not only a voice recorder but also an external battery just amazes me! The battery life is incredible and can last 3 or 4 days if I leave it in continuous recording mode and almost two weeks when voice activated. Everything I need is included, making it much easier to use. I probably wouldn't have known where to start when it came time to plug in my laptop if the cable wasn't included and I had to buy it myself. I think the price for this is great. I paid forty dollars for the power supplies alone, and the cassettes for my tape recorder cost at least ten dollars a pack of three, not counting the cost of the tape recorder itself. I highly recommend it. The sound quality is excellent even when I'm a few meters away from the speaker.
