It's not quite the lightweight cure I was hoping for, but it's understandable that we have to push back the rug to get to the dog's urine, which has probably seeped into the food . The smell of the product is almost pleasant, and the smell of urine has improved to the point where it can move in our rented apartment without the carpet. It did not damage the carpet and the carpet still feels soft. Let me add that I have probably rubbed the carpet hundreds of times, mostly just with water in the carpet cleaner but also with other products like Genesis 950 and Urine Stream etc. They have helped but nothing has been done about urine so far. (And may I add how glad I am that our rescued pup has finally gotten through the almost, but not quite, freaky phase?)
