Review on BOYO VTL421SR Bar Type License Parking by Chad Sornsin

Works well for a cheap rear view camera. Sensor function works

A reasonable low cost option, this camera is one of the few aftermarket cameras with redundant proximity sensors. During the day the camera works fine, but at night it is unusable. Proximity sensors also work and come in handy alongside a fairly cheap camera. However, I have found that fog or water on the sensors makes them think the car is secured against a wall. The sensors should be of fairly low quality and not able to see through water or anything like that. The installation instructions are frustratingly inadequate. But that seems to be a problem with every camera Boyo sells. I was able to buy this camera when the price was ridiculously low. So I don't regret it. I'm not sure I would buy this if the prices were anywhere above $60. There are better ways.
