Years ago I had this table on wheels. My daughter loved it and rode it all over the ground floor. I think some parents let their kids ride stairs so they stopped building them. I wish they wouldn't stop making them because my daughter loved moving around the house. In any case, if they are not already running, this is the best option. This keeps them upright and gives them the ability to straighten their legs and mimic walking movements. It's great when they get bored sitting or lying down and it keeps them awake. Sitting next to your child and playing with them is nice - it seems to improve their ability to stay engaged, alert and focused. While the baby cannot walk around the house, he can turn around in the 360 degree swivel chair. He also transforms into a game table and practice table when he outgrows this position.
