Review on FORITO Laptop Protector Protection Blocking by Carl Estell

Installed normally. I absolutely LOVE the anti-reflective coating. This part is incredibly effective. Unfortunately, the installation requires a surgical clean room. As with other screen protectors, even the smallest speck of lint or dust will form a blister. I installed after cleaning the screen with a cleaner, alcohol and then a lint free cloth. However, there were about ten smudge-related bubbles on the large 17-inch screen, and the quarter-inch bubble is annoyingly obvious. This is amplified by the static electricity generated when removing the protective layer from the film - it is just a magnet for dust and fluff. I tried removing dust with masking tape, but the situation ended up being even worse: removing the film from the screen generated more static electricity, which resulted in more dust. I ended up taking them off (I bought two packs for two laptops) and threw them in the trash. It's not a mirror image (pun intended) of the product - it just can't be installed on a big screen without bubbling up. I wish there was a better way.
