Bought to use with my PS4 as well as a work laptop dock. (I play in the home office ;) ). I like it - much better than my TV which isn't specifically designed for gaming. The speed and colors on this monitor are crisp and the gaming experience has been vastly improved. It has improved my skills in FPS games like Call of Duty. If you are planning to use it for Playstation, FreeSync and AMD Display Port are not compatible as PS4 does not have it. But for an average Joe like me, we wouldn't have noticed anyway. Regardless, he looks amazing. If you're also like me and want to use it for dual purposes, a gaming monitor and PC/web browsing, it's a bit of a headache. The in-game settings you'll be using are very different compared to the web browser and email settings you'll need to use - and there's no middle ground. As a result, you have to change them every time, which is annoying. However, this is a personal choice and I am already used to it. Finally, the built-in speaker is useless, so don't expect anything. Imagine they are not.
