Not suitable for anything heavier than a mobile phone (maybe). Tried to install a flash (Canon System Flash) and there was no way to hold it. In addition, the thread was torn off when tightening with two fingers. $9.90 wasted on complete rubbish. For those trying to figure out if my review is worth listening to and not the 80% positives: I usually work with a heavy DSLR setup and Manfrotto and Gitzo tripods so I'm used to good quality. Tried to find cheap jigs to mount remote flashes. This device should NOT be used with anything heavier than a paperweight. I should have gone to Starbucks instead.
