In my opinion this is the cheapest high quality turntable you can get. Sure, you could spend $3,000 on a top-of-the-line turntable, but this model has everything you need to enjoy your records: an adjustable weight arm, direct drive (don't worry about the belt), and pitch control . The pickup/stylus is what I would describe as "good enough to sound good" but advanced audiophiles might just want to upgrade it. I recommend this player to anyone who wants to take a few steps up from their entry level player but don't want to go broke.
