I'm glad others have had a good experience. Not me. There are no instructions, so I bolted it to the towing eye. Then I tried to attach the plate to the product. It turns out that the bolt is too long when you take out the extra nut (it could be a lock nut, but it looks like they're just extra parts). I tried to tighten the screw in the base plate and it broke off, at the same time the part fell out of the machine - apparently the threads on the part are very, very loose and I really snapped it screwing the part in the car. by hand before I even tried tightening it with a wrench.
