Review on πŸ“± Sprint Connect 2 Wireless Phone by Chad Myers

Revainrating 2 out of 5

The price was good. The product is not good enough.

First of all I did not receive this product through Revain but I use Revain a lot to read reviews so I thought I would contribute. I was able to try the Sprint Home Connect 2 when I updated my phones. The Sprint Store offered an additional $100 discount to upgrade my phone and try this product on my home phone. The monthly fee is very fair and when everything works it seems like a good deal. Setup is easy enough and I think it works as advertised, but unfortunately the audio quality of incoming and outgoing calls is horribly poor. I live very close to a cell phone tower and my cell phones sound ten times better than what I've heard from the same phones I've previously used with another home phone service. In addition, the caller ID is displayed sporadically. It never shows names and sometimes only the last 4 digits. Also, you can't use an answering machine, only system voicemail, which is inconvenient if you don't want to answer an unfamiliar number and then realize you still want to answer the call after the person has left a message at all . My phone also said I had new voicemail but when I called it said I had no messages. Again, the call quality is what makes their product unsuitable for me. Be quick though, they only give you 14 days to change your mind. I might consider this product in the future if they make some major improvements to bring it up to par with VOIP or regular landline service.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Very expensive
