This cute little Akol teether definitely arrived in gift condition! On the back there is an outer cardboard box with care instructions and on the inside the teether is sealed in a plastic bag. I like the choice of ring/protrusion colors and how cohesive they are. When you take the wooden ring out of the outer silicone case, the silicone part still feels very strong and durable like it will last well. I haven't had a chance to wash or steam the silicone ring yet, but I'll update this review if it doesn't work as expected. The current retail price of $9.99 seems a bit steep to me considering similar teethers from other brands cost around $6.99. If I were to buy this back I would probably wait for a sale or a small coupon. However, I still think it would make a great addition to a baby shower/newborn gift, especially if their nursery is decorated in a boho, woodland or wildflower style. :)
