These teething toys are high quality and come in rich colors. My only concern is that the middle wooden ring will come out of the silicone mold and I'm concerned that this could be a choking hazard. Otherwise the little plastic circles on the outside have great texture and tiny bristles which I think feel great and are soothing to gums.

This teether can be used with or without the removable center ring, with each colored rib textured differently to help soothe sore gums. The teething ring is easy for small hands to grip and the flexible silicone is easy to clean. The colors are more muted than expected, but they make for quite a complex color palette! And the teether is beautifully packaged and very gift-worthy.

I love the colors and all the little bumps, but due to the middle of the tree I had to give a few stars less. The wood was a bit more yellow, it had some kind of finish on it and when I noticed it I was immediately worried about how it would hold up. I washed and steam sterilized it but the finish is gone. I'm worried how long this will take. A full silicone toy would probably be better, although wood is aesthetic but not functional. It seems well made and perfect for children's hands.

I like that this teether has different textures on each end. The flexibility of the material is good, but I was a bit concerned if it would hold up over time and if the cleats would come loose. I pulled and twisted it a bit and they looked ok but only time will tell. I also like the look of the wooden ring, but I don't always understand it functionally, since the silicone ring can easily slip off the wooden ring. I suspect it gives the baby something more stable to hold on to, but in this case…

This teething toy comes individually wrapped in a cute box. When I opened it I was really impressed with the quality and the fine workmanship! It's a wooden ring that has another silicone ring with numerous chewy textures that peel off like flower petals. This cute little Akol teether definitely arrived in gift condition! On the back there is an outer cardboard box with care instructions and on the inside the teether is sealed in a plastic bag. I like the choice of ring/protrusion colors and how cohesive they are. When you take the wooden ring out of the outer silicone case, the silicone part still feels very strong and durable like it will last well.
