These snaps close very quickly and loudly, so be careful when closing them. They seem solid, but of course they'll break if you step on them or drop something heavy. They don't open when I drop them. They fit perfectly with one pair of glasses, but the other barely fits (they are aviator glasses). So if your glasses are that big, they probably won't fit as they are quite narrow. Works for my needs.
