Review on πŸ”§ Revive Your GM Instrument Cluster! Dr.Roc X27 168 Repair Kit: 7 Motors, 10 Backlight Bulbs, Tool & Solder by Jared Barit

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Try it: $26.99 vs. $500 for a new cluster!

Works like a champ! I have a 2003 Chevy Avalanche that just had a gas needle failure. I took it to a well known car service near me, they worked on it for more than a week! And I still couldn't fix the gas dart so I took it to the GM dealer and they worked on it another week and couldn't fix it. The new ones had a gas arm working but something else went off like tac or oil pressure so said I told them to put my things back in, I came for that. And guess what else I had to pay $400 (wasn't a happy camper) so see if your sensor doesn't work try very easy to install mine did it in 25 minutes. I would recommend buying an Aven 17542 takedown wick, width 2.5mm. , 5' length. It's a lot easier to clean up with.

Pros
  • It's easy to use, but it's best to search the web for instruction videos first, which is very helpful.
Cons
  • Minor issues
