* 2 stars in the original rating, increased to 5. After reading my review that this mouthguard didn't work for us, the company automatically issued a full refund. This kappa didn't fit my 8 year old soccer player for a number of reasons: - The strap is awful and doesn't stay in place. During the game he was separated twice. Even if it was the best mouthguard in the world, we still wouldn't use it because the band is junk. 4 guys who went through a mountain of kappa and this is the only one i have ever bought that hasn't kept in touch. - He was really distracted by this mouthguard and kept reaching/putting it in and out of his mouth. . He didn't have this problem with other kappas, and when asked, said it made him drool. I really wanted it to work because the mouthguard itself appears to be well designed and able to protect teeth from impact. It also seems less likely to be chewed up, but after a week of practice and play we replaced it with a different protection.
