goes great with my Samsung soundbar. Not for others, listening wirelessly means you don't have to hook up the entire device to another surround sound or mixer/soundbar as it needs to be connected through your Samsung TV. the speaker needs cables from it to the main unit. As for me, I have wires in my walls running out from the living room, so I just had to slide the red and black ones to their backs. I then had to run cables from the back wall behind the TV to the main unit. **Please note that the wires are almost bare and the real wires must touch metal or touch each other or you will not get any sound. Volume control on the rear speakers is also very difficult. When you have the soundbar in BT mode, you can toggle between treble, bass, etc. on the rear speaker, but then trying to adjust the volume just toggles the speaker on and off again. It wasn't until I connected the soundbar to the TV with an optical cable that I was able to use the soundbar remote to cycle through the rear speakers and set the rear speakers to +6. not with these systems and cable boxes. the cable boxes have their own volume control and you have to turn it all the way down and then control the sound via the soundbar, as I understand it. The sound is great now!
