In December 2010 - 7 1/2 months ago - I bought a new Precision T7500 workstation from Dell that contained two of these monitors. Suddenly, one of the monitors did something I hadn't seen on monitors since the 1990s - a streak, the kind that used to indicate a monitor without a screen saver was on. The smearing is so severe that it is no longer possible to use graphics programs on it. The screen will now "bounce" from time to time, with an effect similar to a nerve impulse trying to create snow. After emailing the Dell support team, the replacement monitor was shipped within ONE DAY which is quite amazing. The replacement monitor is installed and works well, I am very satisfied.
