I purchased this camera specifically for use with a Video Management System (VMS) that controls 14 other cameras in and around our home. This system is called the Blue Iris. I asked here if the camera is Blue Iris compatible and got a "yes" reply from someone at Amcrest. I also spoke to support and was again told it was compatible with Blue Iris. I bought a camera, set it up and followed Amcrest's instructions on how to use it with Blue Iris. It did not work. I called Amcest support and was told this camera WILL NOT WORK with Blue Iris. Sent the camera back today. I've spent too much time getting this camera to work and spent too much time packing it up and shipping it back to UPS. Amcrest, do better, okay? If you're just looking for a cheap camera with decent image quality to view on your phone, this camera is priced right and will get the job done. If you need assistance, you may receive conflicting or altogether incorrect information. If you don't expect much from this camera, it will most likely do the trick.
