Very soft and durable. My son wears them to ballet and they hold up great. They have been washed several times but are still as soft and think as before. He usually wears 4T or 5T; We bought both sizes and both fit well. He usually needs 5T for length, but waist is too big; Well they have just the right amount of stretch but not too tight so either size fits him without falling off even when he's dancing and jumping like crazy!
