I wore these this winter for snowshoeing mostly. It gets pretty cold here, so these weren't warm enough for most days if I wasn't moving. But they were perfect for snowshoeing. 4 stars instead of 5 because the scarf was too big and wouldn't stay up for me. I'm a size 12 so I usually don't have problems with things being too big. The gloves are great though for if you need to use your phone and it's cold out. For snowshoeing I wore them if it was 20 degrees or more. For just standing around I'd want at least 35 degrees or I'd need thicker gloves.
