I bought this because the in app auto tracking was shown in a promotional video. Technically it works. And it tracks what you draw pretty well, even at different distances. However, there is one big problem - the entire stabilizer is NOT designed to fix the phone on a cold shoe - it is too heavy. Even with the phone perfectly balanced, you get very little vertical movement before the motors stop working and it just kicks in and gives up. And of course the application crashes completely. And the phone must be installed on a cold shoe, otherwise the APP control will not work. In fact, the application often crashes by itself. From the looks of it, it doesn't even support the Galaxy S10, only the S9, even though the S10 is over a year old. Another big problem concerns the direction of the PTZ joystick. This allows you to change direction (down, up, left, right, like an airplane joystick) BUT it COMPLETELY messes up the smart modes that rely on that control (including auto-tracking). That makes it pretty much useless to me. My last complaint is the mode selection. For a $300 device, please add *a* reference to what mode I'm in so I don't have to guess. Even just a second color LED or a 7-segment display or whatever, so it's not just blind tapping until you feel right. There are few supported cameras, but I knew this was going to happen. The build quality is excellent, and the battery life is top-notch. I wish it was possible to charge the entire device instead of pulling out the batteries and carrying around a separate charger. Update after another week of use: I'll probably return this and get the brand name. I really appreciate what they were able to do with the build quality for the price, but the horrible app and lack of software and interface doesn't quite suit me.
