Bought 6 of these plugs. Transmission rates of up to 10 gigabits are claimed. That's a lie. They wouldn't even transfer speeds as low as 1 gigabyte. THESE ARE ONLY 100mbps baud rates. I have 1000Mbps internet and all my cables work fine at 1000Mbps. As soon as I add one of these ports, my speed drops to 100 Mbps. I checked all 6 connectors and they were all garbage. This is fake advertising garbage. Other comments say they work because they don't bother to test their speed. If they did, they would realize that the maximum speed they are operating at is 100 Mbps. They are NOT ready for cat5e, cat6 or cat7. This is a rip off and they look very cheap. I've learned the lesson to never skimp on certain products again because that's the result. Already returned for a refund. DO NOT BUY OR ENDORSE THIS SCAM.
