This moisturizer is the BEST of both worlds - absorbs better than regular LOTION but doesn't leave as much of a sticky residue as OIL. My child (under 1 year old) had dry skin with red patches on ears and legs. , under her elbows, knees and anywhere there was drool. She scratched constantly and sometimes scratched until she bled. to save you time and energy that I wasted. First, I tried the Honest Company bathroom cleaner and lotion. Vain. Second, I tried a combination of Honest Company body wash, Vanicream, and Aquaphor. It helped a little but stopped working after a few months. Third, I switched to natural cosmetics and bought badger baby balm, badger oil and Babo Miracle Cream. (Badger is basically olive oil.) I really wanted to love all three products, especially. Babo, but I agreed with the reviewers who said the smell put them off. I would have stayed with them if they worked because I love the ingredients and the EWG (Environmental Working Group) reviews, but they just didn't work. Finally I bought Mustela cream soap and moisturizer! *Note: I also purchased Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Bath (oatmeal bath wraps). This is my winning combo: (1) Mustela Face Wash in a separate bath/sink (2) Aveeno Oatmeal Bath in her baby bath (3) Angel Baby Oil (from Earth Mama Angel Baby, just to add all the natural elements to... Get Calendula and help your scalp. It contains: Grapeseed Oil, Jojoba Oil and Organic Calendula) (4) Mustela Moisturizer After Bath and Every Day All Over I don't believe the other reviewers but after ONLY ONE BATH we saw an improvement! It's been 3 days now and her red spots are almost all gone. Don't make the mistake of thinking that all natural is always better. I realized that sometimes we need drugs, and they are synthetic. My child's skin was so sensitive that she needed a "medicine" and Mustela helped her! I suffered 10 months. Couldn't be happier!
