Love the color tone of the glass - dramatic, classy - very pretty when I received it and all the candles worked. I was impressed with the remote - better than expected, worked well. The plastic "flame" beats back and forth and creates a "shimmer" that is reflected in the glass. I didn't use timers. In fact today is the first day I've used them and unfortunately the 2 higher ones didn't work when I turned them on (they didn't stay on after I checked them and they had new batteries). They were also well packaged in molded foam and had no visible damage in transit. I fiddled with them a bit, turning them on and off and the middle one started working. After some time, the big one started to swing, but there was no light - I was so disappointed ... I didn't even have time to use it. Meanwhile, the baby was clicking wildly, and I could hear it intermittently.
