Samsung recently released some cute robot vacuum cleaners. Having used this new Jet Bot+ model for a while I think they have caught up with other more reputable companies in terms of the performance of their vacuum cleaners. Two features that have been popular across brands lately are LiDAR sensors for navigation and a base station with a bin that automatically empties the vacuum with each use. This model has both of these features and they work very well. This vacuum cleaner does not have a floor cleaning function, but cleans both carpets and hard floors equally well. One feature I really like is that it can be controlled through the Samsung SmartThings app. I already use this app to control my Samsung washing machine and dryer, so it's nice that I can add this vacuum cleaner as another device to the app without installing new software or creating another online account. Given the features of this vacuum cleaner, I think that's a great thing at the current price.
