I was wary as many of the reviews talk about connection issues with the app. But the price is good and I wouldn't feel bad if I hated it. I also really wanted these pastel colored Tamagotchis (which are only available in this version). With all of the above I like it. Yes. There was a problem connecting to the app. It takes many attempts to establish a connection. Patience is a must if you want to buy this and use the app. It seems the more I plugged it in, the easier it got. But it still needs a few tries. I was able to hook it up to my Tamagotchi On with no problem. If you are waiting for it to connect to another, press the button. So yes. It's cute and you can change your tamas to pastel colors. The connection to the app is the only downside to Tamagotchi Meets and only in the pastel version from what I've read. If you can handle it and agree that it's in Japanese, then go for it.
