Don't think the cruise line won't confiscate it, although it's a good way out.

Purchased for use on a cruise ship based on feedback that others have used it successfully. The carnival is confiscated. The Carnival Freedom ship has a number of additional power outlets in its rooms, including USB, so additional power outlets are not a problem for some ships at this time, and are expected to be the same as for ships converting in the future. Although I used at home - there can't be too many USB in the outlet. :)

Pros

Multi Outlet Extender Expander: 3 AC outlets and 2 smart USB ports for charging electrical devices. It supports 5 electrical devices at the same time. such as cell phones, iPads, laptops, lamps, cameras and many other devices.
