Review on SmartWool Womens Smartloft Skirt Medium by Bobby Blanton

I bought this skirt to wear cross country skiing because my thighs are cold. I am very happy. I can wear it for skateboarding or classic skiing and didn't have to adjust the bottom zip to be comfortable. (when I sit) it usually stays in place. I like being able to open it up an inch or two at the top when I have thicker layers underneath and it won't open. I like being able to fully unzip it to take it off or put it on, so it's easy to do on the trail if I change my mind about it. It's easy to slip into my pack and then buckle into the snow for added warmth and softness before lying down to rest. I waited a long time to order because of the cost, but I think it's worth it. I've been skiing in my mid-weight Smartwool base layer for 10 years and it's still in great condition. I always ride in Smartwool socks. When I wear anything else, my fingers get wet and swollen as soon as they sweat. Therefore I am sure that my skirt will retain its quality and functionality. I'm 5ft 6" and usually wear a size 14 pants. maybe less and I suspect XL will be too wide in the waist.
