These are my 7 year old son's favorite pants. You're covered in space, so what's not to love? He wears the pants strong and the knees hold up well so the material is durable. I will be ordering a second pair after wearing them for 7 months just because he loves them so much and they have faded badly. The material is fading, but given the durability, I don't mind that much. Size warning, they run small. I ordered and will order the largest size 14-16. My 7 year old (7 years 2 months) is tall for his age. He is 4 feet 5 inches and about 75 pounds. It has plenty of waist room, I can't tell how fat a kid can get like that, maybe 100 pounds? No complaints about the waist. But I can't see how they would work for those over 4ft 8in. I don't think 4'8 is a size 14-16. Maybe my baby has strong legs, I don't know. But be careful, go up a size because they are cool but run small.
